Summer Reunions: ESR Sends Representatives to Yearly Meetings

In time-honored Quaker tradition, ESR finds that travel is an indispensable means of keeping our networks vital and flexible. All year ‘round, ESR faculty, staff, students, and alumni take turns representing the school at yearly meetings and other Friends gatherings, as well as selected national denominational gatherings. Through these visits, thousands of people have the opportunity to learn about ESR and explore the possibility of becoming associated with the school as students and supporters. ESR, in turn, benefits not only from the interest of these persons, but also from the reports of our representatives at the events. The summer is an especially busy time for such visits! Here is an account of staff, faculty, student and alumni/ae travels as designated ESR representatives to various yearly meetings in the summer of 2003.
