Tenth Annual Pastors Conference - 2007
"Coming Home to Love" with Elaine Heath, Sept. 24-25, 2007
Evangelism is the holistic initiation of persons into the reign of God as revealed in Jesus Christ. It is carried out through three categories of activity: preaching, teaching and healing. The foundation for holistic evangelism is contemplative prayer. In this conference, Dr. Elaine A. Heath will guide us in exploring the relationship between contemplative prayer and holistic evangelism, and consider a variety of ways to cultivate the contemplative life in both pastors and congregations.
Workshops on evangelism, church growth, and spirituality, presented by ESR faculty and alums, will round out the conference schedule.
The cost of the conference is $40 (plus optional meal fee). To register,
